Alienware has announced a pair of new OLED gaming monitors and—huzzah!—one of them marks a new low price point for the brand. The new Alienware 27 AW2725D is a 27-inch 1440p panel running at 280 Hz and it's yours for just $550. Oh, and Alienware also has some new more affordable LCD models, to boot.

Alienware's 27-inch OLED will debut at an amazingly low price. Meanwhile, Dell also has an affordable new OLED ultrawide and smaller 4K OLED on offer.

As you can see from the list, QD-OLED is very much the tech of the day for Alienware, with OLED panels becoming more and more popular in PC gaming over the last 18 months. This has largely been because they've gone from being prohibitively expensive to far more widely and affordably available.
