A judge issued an order Sunday night barring any National Guard members from being relocated from any state for federal service in the state of Oregon.

The ruling is a setback for Trump as he seeks to dispatch the military to cities over the objections of their leaders.

A Fresno County-based member of the California Army National Guard died in a non-duty-related car crash over the weekend, officials said. The man, identified as David Solomon, was a solider with the guard’s joint task force with Cal Fire, Carl Trujillo, a spokesperson for the California Military Department, told SFGATE.
