Miami Dolphins, Carolina Panthers
Digest more
Miami Dolphins owner Stephen Ross was less than thrilled after the Miami Dolphins lost against the Carolina Panthers on Sunday, 27-24, dropping their record to 1-4 on the season.
The Panthers are 2-2 against the spread this season; those came when they defeated the Falcons and then when they came five points short against the Cardinals, who were favored by seven at game time. The Dolphins, similarly, are 2-2 against the spread.
This latest offseason was yet another example of the front office shooting its own roster in the foot. After an aggressive free agency period and a (tentatively) quality draft class, the Panthers started sewing the seeds of their own destruction by releasing Jadeveon Clowney for no good reason at all at the end of May.
The Panthers got their NHL championship rings that pay homage to the fans' tradition of throwing plastic rats on the ice rink after victories.
Mike Kaye and Alex Zietlow break down all the latest news in the world of the Carolina Panthers on the latest podcast episode of Processing Blue.
Renfrow's comments aren't intended to be an indictment of the front office, but it's not wrong to ready them that way, either.
