FBI confirms the arrest of Cindy Rodriguez Singh, a North Texas mother accused of killing her 6-year-old son, Noel Alvarez. Singh, added to the FBI’s Ten Most Wanted Fugitives list in July 2025, was captured in India after an international manhunt.

Cindy Rodriguez Singh has been considered a fugitive since 2023 after the FBI says she lied about where her son was and fled the U.S. to India.

Cindy Rodriguez Singh, who is accused in her North Texas son’s death, is now in the Tarrant County jail after a global search. The FBI announced earlier this week that they worked with officials in India to find and arrest her.

It’s been over two years since an Amber Alert was issued for Noel Rodriguez-Alvarez, but he hasn’t been forgotten.
