Diego Stalin Tavarez Fleury was caught on surveillance video violently attacking an 83-year-old woman in Orlando, Florida, as he tried to steal her lottery winnings

Surveillance video from a gas station in Orange County captured the moments when an 83-year-old woman was robbed by a man after she won the lottery. Diego Tavarez Fleury was arrested by the Orange County Sheriff’s Office on Thursday and was charged with robbery and battery on a person 65 years of age or older.

An 83-year-old woman was violently attacked in the parking lot of a Florida convenience store, and then robbed of her lottery winnings just minutes after she claimed them.

The victim, who deputies said is 83 years old, was seen walking out of the store and toward her vehicle with her lottery winnings when Fleury approached her.
