A magnitude 3.0 earthquake jolted the East Bay on Tuesday afternoon, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. The quake struck just before 5 p.m. about three miles west of Dublin, the USGS reported. There were no immediate reports of injuries or damage.

A second earthquake was also felt in the area Tuesday night, as a 2.8 magnitude quake was recorded near Orinda around 10:43 p.m. local time. The second quake struck about two miles west of Orinda and about three miles east of Berkeley,

An earthquake shook parts of the San Francisco Bay Area on Tuesday evening. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the magnitude 3.0 temblor struck near Dublin, California, about 30 miles across the bay and southeast of San Francisco.
