Google reportedly sent an email to parents to let them know that the Gemini AI chatbot will soon be available for children under 13 years old. The New York Times cites an email that states the chatbot would be available starting next week for certain users.

Google is rolling out a version of Gemini just for kids under 13. In an email today to parents of supervised accounts, Google announced that Gemini apps will soon be available for child accounts with parental controls.
