Stockton trucker Harjinder Singh faces deportation after a Florida crash killed three; he waived extradition and will return to face charges.

Harjinder Singh is accused of making an illegal U-turn on Florida’s Turnpike in St. Lucie County while driving a commercial semi-truck and trailer.

Singh is accused of being behind the wheel of a tractor-trailer attempting a U-Turn on the Florida's Turnpike on Aug. 12. The incident led to a crash and the death of three people in another vehicle in St. Lucie County. Singh is being held in a California jail on no bond.

After receiving his work permit, Singh was able to secure a Commercial Driver’s License in California, DHS said.
