Jeremy Renner's recent comments about Hawkeye season 2 present a major game-changer scenario for the MCU and Clint Barton's story within it.

Speaking of Disney+'s "Hawkeye," Renner said, "I'm sure we'll end up doing Season 2, and do other things. And I'm happy to do it. My body's getting ready for something like that. I don't know if anybody wants to see me in tights, but my body will look good in the tights."

In a new interview with Empire, Renner, 54, who portrayed comic book archer Hawkeye in several superhero blockbusters, revealed he's ready for a return to the big screen. "I'm always happy to be in that world, man," he told the publication. "I love all those guys, I love the character."
