No. 8 seed Tennessee (43-15) defeated No. 1 seed Texas (42-12), 7-5 in 12 innings, during the 2025 SEC Tournament quarterfinals Thursday at Hoover Metropolitan Stadium in Hoover, Alabama.

The Vols will move on to the quarterfinal round of the SEC Tournament and face No. 1 seed Texas at 3 p.m. on Thursday.
