The ISIS-K terrorist Pakistani officials handed over to the U.S. in connection to the Abbey Gate bombing is tied to multiple other terrorist attacks.

In a speech to Congress, President Donald Trump announced the apprehension of the person he said was the “top terrorist” responsible for the attack that killed 13 U.S. service members in August 2021.

An ISIS-K member arrested following the 2021 Abbey Gate bombing in Afghanistan confessed to scouting the attack route, the Justice Department said.
