Manchester United announced the signing of forward Bryan Mbeumo from Brentford for a transfer fee sources told ESPN was worth in excess of £70m.

The Athletic’s David Ornstein reported Thursday that United bid $87 million up front and close to $7 million in add ons to Brentford for Mbeumo, and Sky Sports are among those sayin g the bid’s been accepted and the Cameroon international is set for a medical.
