HOUSTON — 'No Kings' protests are happening across the country, including here in Houston. People are demonstrating against what they call the authoritarian actions of the Trump administration. House Speaker Mike Johnson calls them 'Hate America' rallies.
More than 2,600 rallies were planned across the nation, including dozens from Los Angeles to the Inland Empire.
Demonstrators gathered along streets and overpasses, in parks and downtown districts, in Aurora, Colorado Springs, Littleton, Arvada, Loveland, Broomfield, Longmont and Boulder.
Thousands of people in dozens of Bay Area cities took to the streets Saturday in a national show of force against the Trump administration that many organizers said exceeded their expectations.
The No Kings “Hands off Chicago” protest was one of roughly 2,500 similar demonstrations against the Trump administration planned across the country and globe, according to organizers.

As "No Kings" protests swelled in numbers across the country, Fox News's Kayleigh McEnany doubted that the crowds were as large as her own reporter claimed.
