A military attache to Indonesia has claimed a political directive prevented early strikes on Pakistani bases, leading to aircraft losses.

The Indian Embassy in Indonesia issued a clarification stating that the remarks made by the attache were “taken out of context” and “misrepresented”.

A navy official said India lost some fighter jets on the first day of Operation Sindoor because of “political constraints” for the military to strike only terrorist camps and avoid Pakistani military bases.
