Ross Chastain is ready to get back behind the wheel of a race car after a busy week celebrating going from worst to victory lane at the Coca-Cola 600 for the first time in his career.
The Trackhouse Racing driver worked all the way through the field to beat William Byron, who was dominant in NASCAR’s longest race Sunday at Charlotte.
Ross Chastain passed William Byron with five laps left and won at Charlotte Motor Speedway, becoming the first driver to win the Coca-Cola 600 after starting at the back of the field.
As for last week's race winner, Ross Chastain, 32, doesn't mind how much power NASCAR enforces. The #1 Trackhouse Racing driver said that he will always try to drive the car to victory, regardless of the mandated horsepower or setup.
