Less than 40 minutes before the show was set to kick off, thousands of fans waiting in line heard the news it had been postponed to an unknown date.

Shakira is still coming to San Antonio, but the whenever and wherever have changed. The Alamodome announced Tuesday morning that the pop superstar would be playing that venue on June 13, 2025.

The singer was set to perform in San Antonio to a sold-out crowd at the Alamodome on Friday before the concert was suddenly called off.

Shakira’s new album will be released on March 25 via RCA Records/Sony Latin Iberia and she will return as a coach for Season 6 of The Voice in the spring.
