Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has promised to knock down the corruption charges against him as he took the stand in his long-running trial.

Netanyahu's testimony will be held in Tel Aviv on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays, between 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.

Benjamin Netanyahu, the first sitting prime minister of Israel to face a criminal trial, is expected to testify for the first time when his corruption case resumes Tuesday.While other Israeli leaders have been indicted and found guilty in criminal cases -- including former prime minister Ehud Olmert who resigned before his trial began -- Netanyahu is the first to take the stand as a sitting prime minister.
