Some of the biggest names in college basketball over the past 30 years congratulated Tom Izzo in a video on him breaking the Big Ten wins record.

The 11th-ranked Spartans rallied from a 16-point first-half deficit and knocked out the Illini with a sizzling 15-0 run over the final 6:58 to pull out an impressive and important 79-65 victory at State Farm Arena.

It would be extremely fitting for Tom Izzo to win the award this year, as Bob Knight, whose Big Ten wins record Izzo just broke, was the first recipient of the award back in 1987.
