As contract discussions involving Jonathan Kuminga continue to be met with roadblocks, NBA insider Anthony Slater presented the possibility of the forward accepting the qualifying offer instead of a two-year deal with the Warriors.

With that being said, a new report has come out about Kuminga and his current situation with Golden State. Anthony Slater of ESPN has reported that Kuminga rather accept his one-year, $7.9 million qualifying offer rather than taking the two-year, $45 million with a team option that the Warriors have offered him.

Jonathan Kuminga and the Golden State Warriors are reportedly still at a standstill in their contract talks. Per ESPN's Anthony Slater, there have been no "substantial" changes regarding Kuminga and the Warriors' negotiations over the past two weeks. Slater and others have reported that Golden State offered Kuminga a two-year, $45 million deal.
