The Maricopa County Department of Public Health on Wednesday said deadly bird flu cases were found at the Wildlife World Zoo. Five of the beloved animals died, but another animal is responding well to treatment.

Officials say the Wildlife World Zoo identified ill animals and brought them to the Arizona Department of Agriculture to undergo testing. Test results indicated the animals were likely ill from H5N1 avian flu.
