Probate courts supervise the probate of wills and the administration of estates and guardianships. They also have jurisdiction over marriage licenses, adoption proceedings, determination of sanity or mental competency, and certain eminent domain proceedings.

Probate Court has resumed the intake of estate petitions at both the North and South Service Center offices. Clerks will be available to receive, docket, and bill incoming petitions as well as take oaths of fiduciaries.
