UPDATE: RIVER CONDITIONS AT ABOUT 5PM, THURSDAY The Ahuriri River appears to have peaked between 2.45pm and 3pm today at the SH8 Bridge at 357.14 cubic meters per second. At the Environmental Science NZ site at South Diadem it appears to have plateaued at 258cms measured between 4pm and 4.15pm The Omarama Stream was running at 8.354 cms at Wardells Bridge between 4pm and 4.15pm. Further upstream above Tara Hills it was recorded at 7.344cms at 4pm. Thanks to this year’s timely clearing work by vo
