HELP AVOID GETTING BOGGED! When I’m hitting the beach like on Teewah, Fraser, Straddie, Bribie or Moreton Islands I let my tyres down to about 18psi before I hit the sand. While vehicles have different sizes and treads this is a good, generally accepted rule. In really thick dry sand on inclines you might have to go as low as 14psi in places, but 18psi is a good start.
