In Mali, Fanta and Dr. Bintou represent two generations united in the fight against HIV. Dr. Bintou helped establish CESAC – Mali’s first HIV clinic – more than 30 years ago at a time when there was no access to ARVs in Mali and a diagnosis often led to death. Years later, at 16, Fanta came to CESAC, to confirm her diagnosis and access lifesaving treatment and care. Today, she’s an advocate for the rights of young people and proves that HIV does not define who you are. For Dr. Bintou, who has de
