Our animals are most active in the early hours when the zoo gates first open, and during our regularly scheduled keeper talks. In the afternoon, when temperatures are higher, the animals are more likely to be sleeping in the shade and may not be visible to our visitors. Many of our animals at #ZooMiami, like people, receive regular wellness exams to ensure their well-being. These checkups will necessitate temporary periods away from public view.
