Hawai’i is a melting pot of different cultures and flavors brought in from immigrant laborers who worked in the plantation fields. I am a third generation Hawai’i born Japanese-American, my great grandparents immigrated here. My great grandparents like so many others busted their butts off to contribute to what Hawai’i is today
