Fireblight is devastating…My pear tree is doing rough. So bad I had to hack it down to a few stumps. It wasn’t the healthiest tree from the start but I am still going to do my best to save it this year and hope we can get it to produce in future years. If not, we’ll have to find a replacement…My best advice to prevent this fast spreading bacterial infection is to get varieties that are more resistant to disease. My liberty, Granny Smith and honey crisp apples are doing great. Hopefully they stay
