In 1994, Kai made a brief return to the WWF challenging then WWF Women's Champion, Alundra Blayze. Kai and Blayze had several matches at WWF house shows. Kai went on to face Blayze at WrestleMania X for the WWF Women's Championship in a losing effort. Kai is the only wrestler to wrestle on both WrestleMania I and WrestleMania X.
