The Palomino club has past into history… Establishment: The Palomino Club opened in 1949 and was a well-known venue for country musicians. Musical History: The club hosted famous artists including Patsy Cline, Johnny Cash, Merle Haggard, Gram Parsons, and Jerry Lee Lewis. Later Years: In the 1980s, it also served as a venue for punk bands and was even featured in the 1978 movie Every Which Way But Loose, which starred Clint Eastwood. Closing: The club closed in 1995. #clinteastwood #palominoclub
