Amonit (Ammonoidea) adalah jenis cephalopoda laut yang bercangkang. Fosil mereka cukup melimpah dan menunjukkan bahwa Amonit memiliki cangkang keras berbentuk spiral yang bergaris dengan berbagai ukuran.
