A 48-inch water main break flooded Uptown streets in the Carrollton area Saturday evening, swallowing a car in a sinkhole on Panola St. A boil water advisory is in effect and covers much of Uptown, including Carrollton Ave, Pontchartrain Expressway and to the Mississippi River.
