A 50-year-old driver was treated by United Hatzalah ambulance crew as he was left unconscious due to a direct rocket strike on his car on Highway 34 at the intersection near Kibbutz Erez. On Friday afternoon, rescue teams from United Hatzalah, Israel's emergency volunteer medical service, worked together with the IDF Home Front Command and Turkish Red Cross to rescue a man in his 50's from the rubble of a collapsed building in Kahramanmaraş. The man had been trapped for nearly 5 days and was still alive. Israel's rescue efforts in the aftermath of the Turkey-Syria earthquake are the 2nd largest in the world.
