The Bendigo Woollen Mills building has been around since 1901. It was built by the Bendigo Electric Supply Company for coal powered generators to provide the town's electricity - including Bendigo's trams. In 1988 two local families purchased the building to run the woollen mills. To this day, machinery in the Mills work 24 hours, five days a week to keep up with demand.
