June 20th is Bald Eagle Appreciation Day, also known as National American Eagle Day! This day commemorates the anniversary of choosing the bald eagle as the American national symbol in 1782. June is Pride Month! This year’s Pride Month marks the 57th anniversary of the Stonewall Uprising in New York City, a series of events between police and LGBTQ protesters that stretched over 6 days.
